intro illustration or not this is the perfect light written book to have in your library, from society issues most girls go through here to YUM illustrated recipes.
i loved how sarah used local hejazi verbs with egyptian accents and all the cute illustrated typical egyptian movies scripts.
the book takes you into sarah's world which is full of everything happy and pretty.

i love how she makes it simple and fun when she signed our books am sure she left everyone a sweet and memorable notes in their books.

1 dress and 3 days

i had to dress up for something this morning and i remembered i've never shared the work outfits i had to wear for week once, i got simple black plain dress from zara it was sleeveless which is perfect for hot days anyhow i paired it with black blazer then i got into my sweaters and end up topping it with blouses i got also from zara like the blue one and like always i had to wear it with my fav blue/black stripe blouse and the orange with hard structure cut.
due to work i had to stick to one bag and two black heels.
and as you've noticed am not that much into accessories specially at mornings i tend to have the worst mood in mornings until i have my coffee or tea.

It's almost 2012 we still have brands, small businesses, restaurants and magazines who never got social online and even when they do they still don't do it well :S honestly i question most of the marketing teams we have here if it wasn't a big thing we wouldn't see vogue and big brands names get social.

what frustrates me the most is the young generation who works in PR and marketing HONESTLY shame on you.

as you've noticed it's almost 2012 and we're still facing poor awareness on the importance of online marketing while the whole world is already drifted and hooked to bigger chances and more innovative use of online resources from web to mobiles and on ground integrations. most companies started paying attention to their online audience here however the fashion network still new and most of them they don't even know what we're talking about so i thought we should honor those who did.

from now on i will try to highlight local brands, designers and stores online Initiatives.

i had great experience with TEDx dirah women conference last weekend in riyadh city thank you king saud university and the amazing girls who organized the event ,, thank you also for the invitation and the hospitality.

i was really afraid, am not a speaker i know i've never been on stage and the first time i remember at school i tried to do it i left the stage crying then the organizers and my family told me tedX is meant for people with ideas whom not supposed to be great speaker so i did my best not what i really wanted but hey i faced my fear.

i don't usually explain myself here but i think i should say something.
i've noticed that some girls miss understood what am doing, i don't only blog and share on bags&windows i work as freelancer in online marketing.
my speech in tedx was 5 minute or 7 so i decided to focus on blogging, am sorry if you expected me to speak about social media for fashion which will be more than half hour and i will never handle that kind of pressure.

i had the chance to set with mariam from sotra boutique for makeup and styling session, i love that she gave me simple tips for natural looks and the idea of not using heavy product and how to break it with tinted moisturizer and above all she introduced me to amazing makeup brand "Laura Mercier" <3.

i recieved email asking me why would i go for styling session when i talk a lot about fashion ,, you need to know abaya never been my cup of tea and i always admit that i suck with picking abayas so i end up with oversized plain dull abaya ,, am sure am lucky to have their help and end up looking elegant and fashionable in abaya.

i love her,, every time i want to explain to someone how to practice social media in it's best i have to mention @DKNY PR girl and deep down i want every company and fashion brand in saudi arabia to do the same with their PR or marketing girls or boys..

am a huge supporter to in-house SM marketing for the brand cause nothing will give more brands experience like someone around your company 8 hours and more everyday more than that is my secret touch to your plan :P and let's get real people will love you more if you gave them experience and sneak peaks.

i love that they took something totally forgettable from everyone nowadays. even eCards no on use them anymore.
